Over the past year, economic turmoil has worsened shortages for diapers and hygiene products throughout Georgia. At Carrie's Closet of Georgia, we believe that every human being deserves to have their basic needs met. These needs include access to healthcare and sanitation.
That's why we're hosting our fourth annual diaper drive from June 1 - June 30. We're providing hygiene products to infants and children through our pop-up shops spanning 4 counties: Columbus, Fulton, Clarke-Athens, and Dekalb.
With 60 donations of $40 dollars each, Carrie's Closet of Georgia will be able to aid 60 families in need of diapers for at least 2 weeks.
We can't provide these products without your generous support. One $40 donation can provide diapers to our children for 2 weeks. Click below or CashApp us at $CarriesCloset1.
One of the main ways we distribute our diapers is through Pop-Up Shops. These are events in which families can come and take a pack of diapers and wipes for free! We host these events across 4 counties, and hundreds of diaper packages are handed out each year!
Diaper Drive funds are also utilized to create "hygiene kits"! These kits include toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, and more. They are packaged and handed out at Pop-Up Shops to aid our community members struggling to meet basic necessities.
At Carrie's Closet, we serve children of all ages. There is a large diaper need in larger sizes, as they tend to be more expensive and therefore harder to supply. This past diaper drive was focused on meeting that need, and we are now able to supply diapers of all sizes across Georgia!
One $40 donation is enough to provide hygiene products to our vulnerable children for two weeks.
